Ride Of Silence is a
worldwide silent slow-paced ride always held on the third Wednesday of May at 7:00PM in honor of those who have been injured or killed
while riding on public roadways. A helmet is required.

July 24th

Blue Belt Janicik, Inc. presents - the
1st Annual Hudson Valley Bike Safety Ride! July 24th at the Walkway
Over the Hudson State Park at 61 Parker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY. Come
enjoy a pedestrian-free bike lane on the Walkway Over the Hudson,
free food and refreshments, and a reusable, environmentally-friendly
canvas goodie bag!
We will begin and end the ride on the
Poughkeepsie* side. We currently have three
organizations helping us out so it looks like it will be a fantastic
day!

June 18th
—
We will be at the Hudson Valley Family Fest from 10 - 4 at Dutchess
Stadium.
"This one of a kind family expo is focused on providing parents and
future parents up to date information and services available in a
fun environment for the entire family. There will be something for
everyone at this event. So whether you are interested in childcare,
health education, traveling, community events, child entertainment,
or just a fun day out, Family Fest is the place to be!"
November 4th at 12:30:
Our official Ribbon Cutting date!!! The Dutchess County Regional
Chamber of Commerce, some local politicians, and I are scheduled
to do our Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting at 2345 Route 52!
Refreshments will be served! It would be great to have lots of
people there to demonstrate the need to the public that we must
promote bike safety and awareness.
October 16th —
We will be at the Hyde Park Fall Fest 2010 at Hackett Hill
Park from 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. celebrating the Fall/Halloween
season. Please come and join us!
October 23
— BBJ will be supporting "Out of Darkness
Community Walks", American Foundation for Suicide Prevention on
October 23, 2010 at the Walkway Over the Hudson. Please join

July 6 and July 7
— from 1pm to 7pm we will be at Bikeway in
Wappingers Falls joining with Cindy Poggiogalle (she lost her
husband), Bikeway and the NY Blood Center for a Blood drive from
1:00 pm to 7:00pm. BBJ will be in attendance all day on the
6th and the beginning of the time slot on the 7th. Please
support your community by giving blood and honoring Sean Janicik and
Al Poggiogalle.
July 31
— from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm: BBJ will be in
attendance at The Inaugural Marathon Project Field Day at VFW Post
170, 1 Violet Avenue in Poughkeepsie, NY. Please visit

April 24 - May 30
— We are selling raffle tickets for two children's bicycles.
Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 and will be sold at the Gold's Gym
LaGrange and Stormville Flea Market events listed below or by
contacting Colleen at 845-235-0584 or
cjanicik@earthlink.net. The drawing will be held on 5/30. All
proceeds go to promoting bike safety and awareness. Special thanks
to Bikeway for their generosity and continued support.
